FAQ

How do you photograph weddings?

I focus primarily on candid moments, but I like a good mix of candid, movement/prompted and posed/formal shots. I like the "fly on the wall" approach. Most couples don't want a camera in their face all day, so I try to be a "sneaky paparazzi," as I like to say. I like to start about an hour before you start getting into your wedding attire, and I'll stay until about 30 minutes after open dancing starts, which ends up being around 8 hours normally.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I am based in West Michigan and Central Ohio. I travel everywhere in Michigan as well as all over the world! I do elopements and destination weddings as well!

When will we get our photos?

This really depends on when you get married! If you're getting married in the Winter, you can expect them back in around 3-4 weeks. In the Spring and Summer months, around 4-6 weeks. The fall season is where it gets CRAZY for me. My turnaround time ends up being anywhere from 6-10 weeks depending on the year.

How many pictures will we receive?

For an 8-hour wedding day with one photographer, you would receive on average between 400-600 photos. For an 8-hour wedding day with two photographers, you would receive on average between 600-800 photos.
This is not a guarantee, these are just averages. The number of photos you receive will vary based on all the various "events" you have going on throughout your wedding day and how many family and guest photos you request.
